Fernilee Overseer Accounts 1836 - 1838

Copied from William Horobin`s Account Book

William HOROBIN`s book, kindly leant by Joyce Winfield, has in it his accounts as Overseer plus all kinds of recipes - How to make black ink; A vomit for a dog for the distemper; A Drink for a host in a cow etc. etc.  It also has the Overseers Accounts for Robert BENNETTs year as well as the `Accounts of Philip OLLERENSHAW from his death Sept 28th 1841`  & `The accounts of Philip HORROBIN from his Death Dec 26th 1887`

"The accounts of William Horobin, Overseer of the Poor for the said Hamlet of Fernilee serving for him self from March 25th 1836 to March 25th 1837   Viz Quarterly as you will find if you turn over"

The first quarter has been shown in full - after that I have only put in entries which refer to people by name.
