16. From this date most entries give birth dates rather than baptisms.

17. Copied from transcript - not yet found in register.

18. Entered with 1653 marriages

19. `Upon or about ye 5th of November 1659 was ye Register redelivered unto ye Ministrs hande since wch: time -`

20. These were written on the last baptism page of the first register (folio 58) - 25 baptisms.  The year of the baptisms is difficult to interpret.  I have assumed the first 10 entries to be 1663/4 as they were originally given a date beginning January 1663.  There is a gap on the page before another 15 entries were added starting June 1663.  It may be therefore that the first 10 entries were for 1662/3.

21. Year not shown but transcript assumes 1664 & this seems realistic.

22. No entries May 1669 (?) to Feb 1696/7.  There must be a register missing.

23. Transcript has added [Mary of Deepclough, yeoman]

24. Inserted amongst the baptisms for 1659

25. Two attempts at forename but both crossed through

26. Date written in Latin but primo written in brackets under nono.

27. Transcript has added [et Lydia, his wife of Whitfield]

28. Father had recently died - bur. 9 Apr 1709

29. This month was originally written (almost certainly incorrectly) as September. December written in pencil alongside.

30. These seven entries are crossed through: two of them reappear on the next folio.

31. A gap left on page between June & Sept as if left for other entries.

32. At the end of this section of the transcript: `This entry not in Glossop Registers which are defective hereabouts` (note from Laurence but no suggestion where he got the entry from)

33. A gap left on page between Jan & May as if left for other entries.

34. A piece of register cut away after this entry - would have been blank on the back.

35. From this point entries date as the Gregorian calendar.

36. Inserted in Burials
